A Study on the Correlation between the Satisfaction and the Score of Clinical Practice


Abstract
This study attempted to analyze and confirm the correlation between the satisfaction and the score of clinical practice including 152 senior students of one nursing junior college from 14 to 18 November, 1988.
The collected data were analyzed by Percentile, ANOVA, Correlation coefficient according to purpose of this study.
The results were as follows:
1. In the motives of selecting the nursing, most of students chose advice of parent (44.7 %), job security after graduation (38.8 %).
2. The highest job desired was a general hospital¢¥ (59.8 %).
3. In the degree of satisfaction to nursing major, `Moderate¢¥ (50.0 %) was the most frequent.
4. The degree of clinical practice satisfaction was low as 2.60 of a total score 5.0. The degree of satisfaction on the contents (2.91) revealed to be high. Compared with the degree of satisfaction on the practice guides (2.40) revealed to below.
5. The degree of clinical practice satisfaction accordjng to several variables showed significant difference at the degree of nursing major (F=5.8171 P <.01).
6. The score of clinical practice to several variables revealed significant difference at `a job desired after graduation¢¥ only (F=2.9828 P <.01).
7. The correlation between the degree of clinical practice satisfaction and the score of clinical practice was little. There was not significant (r = .001 P > .05).
